The village is situated at the confluence of two rivers coming from the valleys above and it is famous for having the last working bell foundry in France. There are 5 roads leading to and leaving Herepian giving a large choice and easy access to the surrounding areas. Your holiday home is set in it's own grounds on the northern edge of the village with the local vineyards only a few metres away. Most facilities are available in the village including a bakery, butcher, pharmacy, cafes and restaurants.

The popular holiday resort and Spa town of Lamalou-Les-Bains is only a few minutes drive away where you can take the waters or pamper yourself with a choice of relaxing and healing treatments. Pass the evening in a choice of good restaurants or cafes and possibly later at the casino or one of the occasional operettas.

The busy town situated on the river Orb is often described as the gateway to the Languedoc National Park. The outer part of the town with the larger shops and supermarket is very close to Herepian while the old town is ideal for holiday shopping and refreshments. Market day on Mondays should not be missed for finding your holiday gifts and souvenirs.
